This here knife was built to chop through stuff! Chicken, fish, heck I bet it could split good kindling too.
I had fun with it, the blade resembles a kamisori razor quite a bit to me, hence the moniker "No Kami Cleaver," also a reference to swordsmithing. The blade is 2-1/4" tall throughout its length, with a mild belly throughout. It's around .270" thick from stem to stern, with a tall hollow grind down to .010" at the edge. With that kind of weight behind the edge it just begs to percussively separate stuff.
The spine and choil areas are smoothly rounded for comfort.
The materials are green canvas micarta, and san mai steel made of 304 and 52100. The blade features a brute-de-forge finish above the grinds. The handle does have a lanyard tube just in case...
Anyways, check it out!
