Well, if you read my recent thread about buying the NMSFNO with kydex sheath and HG55LE as my first Busse's, you know this is my first real experience with larger frame fixed blades on top of it. And by the way with kydex sheaths.

I got the package today. It is a beaitiful knife. Well balanced. And a perfect size. I will try and take pics later today and post them.

The grip is very comfortable. More comfortable than I expected.

I didnt know how I would feel about the coated blades but in person, I kinda like it. I see what the attraction is now.

So I will try to get some pics up later.

By the way, how does the tek-loc clip function? I searched on the web and didnt find anything specific.

Take the center locking piece out(kinda u shaped),,,,,then pinch the bottom ends,,,,it will then open on it's hinge,,,,,,,, and as you must well know,,,,,, You have NO blades without pics !!!!!!!!!..... it's just typing,,,,, and Congrats on your first Busse score :thumbup:

Gotcha. I did what you said and got it first try. Thanks.

Here are a few pics. Perfect fit I would say!

Nice, I like the color of your knife's handle. I can't wait to get my first as well. Should arrive soon as I paid for it two days ago. Gonna go hack on some logs from a tree I cut down last year.

I think you almost have the basics down. But first ... you have to go cut and chop something.

Hard.:D:thumbup:

I think the NMSFNO will be very much a "grail" in the future for those looking for a "one knife" option.....I am tempted to get another for a stripped D/C treatment....great balance and feel....I like it a fair bit more than the SFNO LE saber grind....and that is a highly praised "one knife" contender....you made a great choice:thumbup:

Congrats... and great choice!
Especially for your first piece.

Way to jump into the trough.
