I gave it some thought when i bought my 1st crash axe, it's meant for emergency breaching and cutting through metal sheets.
There was a scene in a movie about a collision of piled-ups on the road and the mass were there to save the trapped ones; They couldn't use anything metallic (to avoid the spark which will ignite) hence they had to pry the metal sheets with their bare hands.
Questions were thrown on tools that we can use to cut open metal sheets without sparking- i'm not the first but def not the last.
Has anyone use a beryllium -copper axe before for this?
I know Strider has done some on their folders.
Could such construction handle the rigor of the application?
