No longer receiving emails for watched forums.

Hello,

About 3 weeks ago I stopped receiving emails of new threads.
I tried to unwatch and then re-watch hoping that would work but it did not.

A Mod suggested I have BladeForums emails not go to junk, problem is they stopped coming all together.

Could I please get a little guidance?

Well that’s a real bummer. First time it’s happened to me and I’ve been here since 2009.
But it’s not spotty, just don’t get any emails whatsoever.

What domain is your email? (Gmail? Yahoo? Outlook? other?)
What device do you use to access BF? Phone? PC? Mac book?
What browser do you use?
 
I use Hotmail hasn’t changed.
I use and IPhone 16 hasn’t changed in 1.5 years
I used Safari
 
There is an issue with Microsoft email servers that has been going on for a while now. Hotmail, Live, MSN, Outlook are all the same tech behind the scenes.

One thing to double check is use the webmail site to check your Junk mail folder. I found on my email client, the junk mail was not syncing from the server. I had to go direct to webmail and look in the junk folder. My email client was the built-in Apple Mail client.
 
I checked the webmail version and no BF emails were anywhere.
But as of about an hour ago they just started coming through again.

I did absolutely nothing to make this happen.

Just glad they’re back 😊
 
Maker sure to setup another MFA to use when you cannot receive emails. Get a copy of your backup codes as well and store them securely. That's really all you can do. The problems are with the big email providers, Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, etc., so don't rely on those as your only MFA source.

Hotmail is Microsoft. We've been having problems recently with Microsofts email servers rejecting BF emails. As far as Spark has been able to determine, the issue is not on the BF end.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the IOS and Safari software.
