No love for Manix 2?

Why not much love for the Manix 2 w/ skeletonized liners? we have Paras, Natives and Manix LWs coming out like theyre going out of style. Id like to see more exclusives/sprints for the Manix G10 skeletonized personally.
 
My guess is that the LW versions sell better with a bonus of being easier to manufacture/more profitable.
 
I love the Manix 2 and over time it's been surpassing the PM2 for my overall favorite model. I also wouldn't mind seeing more sprints but I'm so happy with my KC cf cruwear sprint I don't mind waiting. This knife just really "jives" with me and although I have a few of the lw's I much prefer the skeletonized linered Manix's.
 
I love the Manix 2, but in the Back Lock, linerless version and the LW versions. It is a great design. I like it better than the PM2 and I hope for more exclusives and sprints. I also hope for a steel upgrade from BD1. I do not know anything about the upcoming BD1N, but it irritates me that I missed out on the XHP exclusive. They need to make more Manix 2s in this steel.
 
I really like the Manix 2 platform, I have a couple of the LWs. I got rid of the regular G10 version I had because of the weight, so I'd like to see some more with the skeletonized liners too. Got a CF Cruwear one on its way which will be nice, I was disappointed I miss it originally. The backlock version seems really nice too, I am hoping and waiting for some sprints before pulling the trigger on one though, I'd like to see it in something other than black with S30V.
 
My LW in Maxamet is my only Spyderco that gets any pocket time anymore.

I like the Manix2 as well. Love the G10 w/ stainless liners. Hate the LW FRN. I feel like there are plenty of versions available :
- black G10
w/ satin blade
w/ DLC blade
w/ part serrated blade
- Manix2 XL (satin and DLC blades)
- blurple G10 w/ S110V
- CF w/ Cruwear
- CF w/ Composite blade

That being said , I'd still like to see more sprints and exclusives with dif stainless steels and more handle options w/ stainless liners.

I'm seriously considering the Manix2 composite S90V/CPM 154 & CF.
 
No experience with the Light Weight model, nor even an original G10 model. I absolutely love my carbon fiber/CruWear 2. Hell, I made up a whole thread saying it'd be the only knife I'd really ever need.

I just wish they'd come out with a G10 Maxamet model instead of just the LW.. That could possibly beat out my CruWear. Maybe, haha.
 
The Manix 2 is awesome, but I can’t bring myself to carry it because the G10 version is so heavy. I’ve really been meaning to get a LW version someday soon because I do like the Manix 2 a lot.
 
im in that camp. skeletonized liners or not. many spyderco designs i prefer over other makers. this one isnt one of those for me. just doesnt appeal to me visually. can't say why with any good reasons? isnt far off from many spyderco blade shapes and designs visual shape wise. kinda weird i got no love for that knife.

That happens to me too on certain knives. Such as the Para2. Nothing wrong with it. But I just don't like it.

Love the Military. Love the Manix. Love the Yo2. Don't like the Para2.
 
Huge fan of the Manix 2, and an even bigger fan of the Lightweight version. Now where's that dark green FRCP and Cruwear version I've been asking for?! :D
 
I don't like the LW Manix. Nothing wrong with it, great folder, just not for me.
I like the Manix, mine's in cru-wear, but I prefer the Para2.
The Manix 2 XL is by far my favorite Manix. This is the model that needs more Sprints/Exclusives/steel options.

I was thinking Green FRCP with CTS 204P and Red with Cruwear. :D
 
Im in general not a fan of the manix, I have owned a few. I like the lightweight version less than the steel liners version. I found it difficult to keep from moving in hand when one handed closing. The jimping on the steel liners is excellent and kept it in place. But, overall I found the knife to be large in pocket rather have a endura , pacific or something slimmer for around the same weight. To each his own I suppose
 
Love, no; respect, yes. I had two LW Manix 2 - all black and XHP. Still have the XHP.

The lock! I don't know if both mine were more stiff than normal, but I did not enjoy closing them. Dropped the knife several times, having it slip from the palm of my hand. Combination of the lock and the size of my hand where the knife rests, I guess. I have seen folks pulling the cage with one finger. If I could, that would solve my problem. But my springs were too stiff.

I do like the look of it, and more importantly, the ergonomics. Hoping for backlock version in a different steel than S30V.

Manix lw maxamet is my current favorite but would love to see a cruwear lw,I have the regular manix 2.... a little bit much in the pocket for me ,kind of dig the original mini manix something about the compactness I guess
 
I like the Manix 2, almost as much as the PM2. Manix 2 is my favorite work knife, PM2 is my favorite EDC. I think I have 5 different ones right now, plus 2 more of the XL version.
 
Manix 2 in G10 is my favorite Spyderco model of all time and I own/have owned something like 30 different Spyderco models. It's easily one of my top five favorite knives of all time. Maybe number one.
