No love for the Small Texas Toothpick?

I have been carrying the Case Small Texas Toothpick in CV since I got it a few weeks ago. It and a small fixed blade have completely displaced my "sport utility" locking folders as my EDC and I don't even use the fixed blade unless I need its one biggest advantage (one-handedness).

It is a little bit longer than the Peanut and a bit thinner but something about the overall shape and the long slender blade just really does it for me. It looks great and is a wicked little slicer!

The thin handles take a little getting used to but now that I have I use my little Toothpick to cut strings and open packages and cut my fruit all the time.

Wondering how come no one talks about this pattern... I think it's really cool and I'm probably going to be adding the medium and large sizes to my collection soon.

I know what you mean. I've got the Case William Russell Chestnut version. It's a good looking elegant little knife. At first I wasn't that happy - I'd never seen one besides on the Net, and didn't expect it to be so smal, but the shape and size do grow on you. If I ever have to wear a tuxedo that's the knife I'd carry.

I have a Case redbone cv Tiny Toothpick and it's a little too small for me.

I like to carry this one with my suit on Sundays.

I've got a Peanut that I use for EDC sometime and was thinking of supplementing it with a Tiny Toothpick as I like the looks of that knife.

I picked up a Case tiny toothpick with the blue herringbone scales. Very cool looking knife, but as mgh said, it was smaller than I expected. Put it next to a Case peanut and the peanut looks beefy! It is an elegant little knife, though. You can throw it in your pocket and never know that it's there. All in all, however, I'd rather carry the peanut when I want to go small.

I guess I never got into the tiny toothpick because my dad was such a die hard peanut man. Mybe figured if it was good enough for him, it was good enough for me if I wanted a small edc knife. But the toothpick is a nice looking knife.

Heck, maybe a new collection can be started; get all the tiny ones. The little trapper, tiny toothpick, peanut, baby butterbean, little pocket hunter, Eisenhour pen, tuxido...

Give new meaning to the term "pocket jewelery".
