For those of you who don't know, I've been in bed since Thursday after going through what has become a pretty painful surgery on my Tweener Pouch, if you will. So here I am, sitting in bed, reading about everyone getting, ordering, testing and fondling their new Machaxs and Tweeners, and yet I ain't seen one GD video. Oh sure, there is plenty of pictures of ya'll strippin and clich'n (still don't know exactly what that is) your new swag. I'm also seeing the odd picture of a decimated hunk of wood, but those things just don't have the same kind of effect as a good video.

Please, people. When you buy a new Becker, it isn't just appreciated that you show us photos of it here, but it is your duty as a Beckerhead to prattle on film, and give us ten minute clips of you hacking away and showing us poor, laid up (or just plain poor) folks, what we're missing.

I'm begging you, here! Show us what you got!

I'd love to make a couple of vids, but I honestly sound like an idiot on video. Not a professional speaker by any stretch of the imagination.

A good video indeed. Exactly what I'm looking for in my weakened condition. However, you currently have the video as unlisted, meaning only those with the link can see it. No BS on my part.

Yeh I only do that cuz of the trolls on YouTube that dislike and negative comment on my videos. I figure the people here wouldn't do that and link it accordingly.

Trolls? On Youtube? If you are attempting to insult the fine viewers of Youtube, I will have none of it!

Seriously though. I hear you. I posted a comment once on a video and have had my sexuality questioned by other viewers responding to the comment ever since. If I recall, all I said was "Good review, bad knife" or some such nonsense. The comments on that site can really make you want to puke sometimes.

The commentators on Youtube are the reason I weep for the future of Man. Sadly, the Gumps of the world are taking over, and they're sharing their stupidity with the world in HD.

I'm planning to shoot a quick video of the BK16 when I unbox it later today. Looking for a stuffed animal to decapitate for it. I try to make my videos memorable when possible. Already have one prop ready...;)

Sqoon, I call shenanigans. You didn't post videos of the docs cutting and hacking with their scalpels now did you?:D Clich, good video!

I suppose I am one of those rare birds that prefers pics over video. With pics I can get to the meat of the thing faster, without having to stop and check every few seconds for the parts I find interesting. There are many posts here and on the various bushcraft forums that I have skipped over simply because no pics means I have no way to tell if it is going to be interesting to me, or if I will get anything out of it. I am sure there are a ton I have missed because of this, but alas, I find it is a habit I cannot easily break.

Sqoon, did you get anything out of it? When I got my left one chopped off, the doc gave me a tactical pen. Sweet trade. You can't hurt anyone with a testicle now, can you?

When I had a 12" hole cut in my stomach, my guts pulled out and stuffed back in, I got a Cold Steel Irish Blackthorn Cane to help get up and around. Surgeries are good for getting toys.

video generally requires TWO people to waste their time on a demo which almost nobody will watch :)

and the person running the video should ideally be weighted down with a tripod for quality, unless you want Blair Witch style demos...

a few frame shot of before, during, after, with camera phone, while doing real and necessaries, is a much finer thing, than nothing at all.

these days it seems like i'm happy to get a couple pictures of early release knives, before i actually even am holding them (six weeks after YOU guys get them ;>)

apparently you can all order the full production lineups too. get to it. i won't see production models for a long time.
