Photos No Markings ? Any Idea.

Hey Everyone, found this in my collection, but no markings, any ideas. Thank You.

 

[Hickory n steel]

It looks to me like an inexpensive knife, similar in pommel to a PAL or Remington and could be made in Germany or Japan
Maybe the markings were ground off, or maybe it only had an etch.
