No matter which Becker I think I love the most, this is the one I always come back to

And its also the sharpest, with the nicest convex edge!

People always complain about the BK2 not being super useful, I totally disagree! This thing can do really fine work and chop its butt off!

That is an amazing looking 2! I had mine out last night for the first time in a while (my new BK4 has been my go to the last couple weeks) and it was just like pulling on a glove. I love the choil you added on this one!

My 2nd 2 is on its way. Can't wait to get to modding. It's my first big becker duplicate. At first glance I thought this was a 16 lol. Nice mods, nice blade!

You make it yours and.....it's yours. Good looking 2. I admit I don't use mine a lot, but it needs a little modification to get it to fit my hand better - Camillus 2's have a pretty thick grip.....and I don't have big hands.

Agreed Tobiism. My 2 is my favorite. Always takes a ridiculous sharp edge and chops like a champ.

Add some liners, and work the stretch. In other words - man up, man. You don't shape the 2 because you can't handle it in all its glory...you learn to deal with your issues and drive forward - gripping the 2 with both hands, if necessary!!

Yeah.....no. I like to mod and I can not lie,
those with meathands can deny,
but my Cam 2 grip's too much,
for my normal size hand to clutch.
That was my first attempt at motivational "speaking" - how'd I do?
Ha! Who do you think you are, bigghoss?

Plus, in all practicality, cramping hands and heavy knives are a recipe for disaster.

I'll give you that one...but I find it easier to work with a big enough handle than a smallish one; and I has normal sized hands. They seem normal to me, anyway...maybe I'm just used to them? (I have had them for a while)

My 2 is a Camillus 2, which has thicker slabs than the KB 2. The steel is a tad thinner, but with the Cam Grivory, it ends up having more girth. Which is a good thing in some applications (wink, wink; nod, nod) but not this one, for me. My KB Beckers are pretty comfy, but I'll end up modding that Cam 2.....someday.

Nice looking 2 man. I've been modding my Cam 2. I need to get some sand paper to finish it up.

I'm not really sure why, but I put micarta on all (I think) of my Camillus BKs.
I could be wrong - but I want to say the Blackjack 2 is a little thicker in hand.

I avoided the 2 for a long time - I had an Esee 5 that I never used, so there didn't seem to be much point. I found one on the Exchange & grabbed it. Some time later, a Camillus 2 fell into my lap. Then one of the sterile Blackjacks came along. Lately, I've been wanting to do SOMETHING with one of them...even if it's just some modification.
I'm anticipating working less than usual this summer - maybe I'll be better able to get some woods time than in recent years.

Hurry up! I need some inspiration before I start mine lol.
At least give us a teaser :D

It's only stripped and sanded at this point. I need to get some finer sandpaper. Wanna smooth her up a bit before the patina.

Great looking blade! at first I couldn't tell if it was a 2 or 12 with the mods you've done, do you have any posts about how you did the full convexing? really awesome.

It is a toss up for me... My fav backers are the 2 and the 16... Can't go wrong either way.. My 2 has been my main knive in the shed... I have one if them hanging on the side of my work bench and use it a lot ... It cuts great and with the convex edge it stays sharp for a ridiculously long time.. Like equal to how long my wife stays mad at me long time...
