no moderators here??

I don't seem to remember seeing this forum moderated by any one other than Esav.
I sometimes send a PM to folks about F bombs and the like but only if I'm feeling kind. :p

I am surprised there is no one listed as a mod here. That is something of a requirement for having a forum. Mr. Emerson does post here. I usually stop by because I like the knives.

The "other place" seems to be of more interest to Mr. Emerson. Other than the standard announcements that get posted here
there is little to no interaction at all. It's a bit of a shame really as we like and buy his knives the same as anyone else.
 
well the other place is green, and he kinda helped make it. I can see why he kinda hangs there more than here but I see your point.

Ditto. Sal Glesser has a forum 'over there' too, yet he finds time to interact in the Spyderco forum.
 
I don't own any of Ernie's knives, nor do I see that changing in the near future, so I'd prolly be a good candidate for mod here - thus, I volunteer. Hey, a career path has to start somewhere... :thumbup:

While Mel Ps offer is of course appreciated it's not going to happen, as you need to be a representative
or at least involved with the company to be mod. for a manufacturer sub forum.

To be fair the forum has actually functiond just fine as it is for years now. There is not a lot of regulars
here and non of are us trouble makers, well some of us arn't, well one of us isn't.....maybe.

I think that if Mr. E wants to continue to call this manufacturer's forum "Emerson Knives" and continue to post messages about and for his business, he or his representative, should at least spend some time here moderating. I visit the other forum only occasionally now due to their attitude towards makers that they don't "Approve" of. Too arrogant for me now.
