Just ordered a bandsaw and cross slide vice from HF and they charged me $8 for shipping. While I can certainly handle the charge and I'm not complaining, I always heard they ship everything for free on orders of $150 or more. Still, $8 to ship a big bandsaw and a 30 pound vice is hardly anything to whine about! :D

yeahup been that way for some time now :(

Good point. I get charged for the miles my x-ray guy has to drive to clean my processor every month, which is a new thing for this year. I will have to start charging patients for the $$ for me to come into work, too!

Well, to put things into perspective, I occasionally use a handheld instrument in adjusting patients, and every now and then I have to replace the rubber tips. The manufacturer sells the little rubber tips for maybe $10 for 5, which should last me the rest of my life at the pace I use the instrument, but also charged $9 for shipping and handling, which meant putting a handful of little rubber things in an envelope and sending it in the mail for $1.30. So, I think I can handle the couple hundred pounds of stuff I am having shipped for $9! :D Maybe I'll think differently when I get the thing and have to screw around with it to get it to work! :D
