I dont get it. I just spent these last few days searching this forum for various write ups on both the brute and the machax. After reading several favorable opinions for the machax, I decided to go ahead and order one. However, to my dismay the very friendly lady at 1sks informed that they were out of the machax and furthermore, camillus has decided to stop producing this blade. I dont get it, was there some kind of recall or what is the deal? I mean, I even read several (albeit, dated) reviews of the machax by ethan becker himself saying this was HIS favorite bk&t product. What happened?

The MACHAX was discountinued. The design had been around for sometime, and sales were not holding up on that model, so it was discontinued to make room for more, newer, models. It was just recently dropped from the line, so dinding one should not be that hard....go to our website www.camillusknives.com and check the links section. There are several dealers listed, and I be at least one of them still has MACHAX's instock.
