No more PM option

Morning---big computer dummy here. This morning I tried to send a PM and when I clicked on the'user' name there was no PM option. I tried a few others- no PM option. I clicked on some 'mod's user names and the option was there. I have never had a problem with this before, although I haven't sent that many pm's. OK, what did I screw up this time. :) Thanks, Teddy
 
Interesting. I'm not sure what's up with this except it's possible they have their profile set to not accept PMs
 
Well you can PM members without paid subscriptions, they just can't read them. Also if their box is full...

Nope, when we click on the name of an unpaid member (i.e. Registered User), there is no option to send a PM. Just like Smithy described.

I will post screenshots shortly.
 
Here is what we mere mortals see when clicking on the names of two different membership levels.

Notice the lack of a PM option in the Registered User's field.
 
Might just be an option for me as an admin :)

since you are the owner, you can send a pm to anyone. when i was an admin over on another forum, i was able to do anything the owner could do except for a few things. i could see and do things the moderators i created could not.
 
FWIW, Mods can't send PMs to regular members either.
