Well I guess I teased enough. I got this done last week and have been carrying it around so mind the dirty bits. I had a couple little issues to work out with the last one, I think this one works very well. The next one will have a little bit different location for the stop pin and the detent ball. But all in all, good strong lockup, no sticky lock, passed a light spine whack, and it flips smooth. I have some better stainless black coated screws coming for it.

This will more than likely be a bit of a flagship model that I will be producing in house. More designs will be following. I will have a few for sale in the next couple months and will be taking orders for them.

Specs:
Blade; .130 thick CPM154CM, heat treated in house 60rc, acid washed for a dark matte finish
Frame; .200 thick 6AL titanium, heat anodized, all internal surfaces jewled
Pivot; .250 heat treated stainless
Standoff; jade green G11
Screws; 2-56 stainless torx

That looks like it’s made to be bomb proof. That’s just incredible.

I have one coming too! :D

Since I'll be carrying this knife I spec'ed it to minimize visible pocket wear and use rather than bling so I spec'ed mine as:

* Blade finish - stone wash

* Handle finish - stone wash Ti

* Back spacer - OD Green camo

Looking forward big time!

I still need to work out the specifics on mine. Rick, I like where your going with yours!
I don't need the jewewled look on mine either. I love this design!

Me:

Everything like the proto, tip up carry, tapped on one side, blueish finish, acid washed blade, red G10 liner. I didn't mention the jeweling as I thought that was standard. I do like jeweled internals. I try to keep my knives from not looking like each other, both in design and color

I'm stoked but this is knife #4 on the current "on order" list and I don't think I'll be able to keep them all :D That means maybe my good ole GB might hight the chopping block.

Jake's folder looks to g*damned good to pass up!

I love the blue Ti finish. I think that will stay on mine. Still trying to figure out Acid or Stonewashed blade?

Glad to hear you guys are excited:) I have been a busy bee, working in the shop. Got a jig built on Friday:) should make these things much easier to make:) .250 thick 4.5x6" 1095 plates hardened and tempered to 63rc, and hand lapped to .001 tolerance, phew!!! . I dont think I will wear them out anytime soon!!! Here are some pics to tide you guys over for a bit. I know you boys have seen them but I will get some new ones up asap.

I'm waiting for a new reamer, taps, and another plate of 6-4 titanium from Tracy:)I even picked up a nice slitting saw for the locks:) yahoo no more dremel cut off wheels. Its my b-day this weekend so my wife gave me the go ahead to buy a mill!!!!! So now I dont have to do all of this for much longer on a harbor freight drillpress, yes you heard me, I do all of this crap on a drillpress. it is a pain in the bum.

makin one with a Damasteel blade and back spacer for a cool dude on usualsuspects. Bottom pic is his steel. Came up with a sweet setup for the damasteel back-spacer, cut out some spacers for it out of a sheet of bronze/phosphorus bearing material. it looks tits

Looks like a very stout folder.

Just one question / comment. The pocket clip on the front scale seems an unsual way to go? or is that just me?
