Last night I had a strange event happen in my garage. I have a large multi drawer roll around tool chest.

My 1&1/2 ton floor jack crawled out of the bottom of the chest , navigated itself around a table & several

chairs & stopped in front of my chair,somewhat like a footstool. I had an.22mag,a.25 semi & a 12 guage on 2

of my tables but they were not disturbed. This is not the first strange event happening in the garage.

My large TV has turned itself on, tools moved & a large dusting brush vanished. Okay, I'm 82 but haven't

lost it yet. My wife agrees.

Supernatural ? What do you think ?

Uncle Alan needs to know.:confused::eek:

It's time for the priest with holy water. I'm not kidding.

Get me a young priest and an old priest...

Seriously, poltergeists or not, you shouldn't leave guns just laying around unattended in your garage.

These days, you can get a video camera with motion sensing that records several hours onto an SD card for something in the $50 range. That would answer your questions quickly.

Change the locks on your garage, or install better locks, next time you might end up with an empty garage.

Teenagers often do things like that just to freak people out. I have a couple of friends who did that kind of thing in their younger days. They'd break into your house, not steal anything, just move one thing.

A couple friends and I did this to a girl in High School. We knew where they kept their extra key and rearranged their living room furniture. The Mother totally freaked out and called the police. In hindsight it was a really bad idea.

OP, could it be vibration? Any large machinery working in the area, train tracks nearby? Are these strange occurrences relegated to your garage, or do they happen in the house too?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Didn't you have a similar experience at some point?

I would invest a few bucks in a small motion sensing camera as suggested.
