is deserving, but by Grace we all are.

Pappy needs some more prayers- he told me he's going to try to walk this weekend, even if he has to use crutches. The lungs looked good- but there were spots of cancer on his hip bones, and enough damage that no one was sure of the outcome. The time is precarious.

I know he's walking through it now.

Haven't met / chatted with Pappy....guess he was right before I joined up....best wishes & prayers to ya'

I see Yvsa started a thread on Pappy a few minutes after this one. We both were thinking the same thing at the same time.

Why am I not surprized?

Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est.

It's a relief to know when I let someone slip my mind awhile, there's others keeping them in mind. Way to go, Yvsa, Munk.
 
Well, that is generally good news but there is still room for improvement. More prayers sent.
 
I got an e-mail from Pappy last week. He is one of the good dudes & definitely tougher than the average bear. We've had him in our prayers for a while here at the 'chicken coop.' I figure he'll be back to killin' snakes before long; I sure hope so.
 
I had a reason for the title of this thead. Pappy was wondering what he'd done wrong, what sins he'd committed to have recieved this Cancer. Oh, I know that's a common reaction from anyone, but here's this honest, hardworking great man wondering what he'd done wrong. I couldnt stand that and I told Pappy the same.
