Er, this is getting ridiculous. Don't pay any attention to Newt. Don't buy anything stamped Ontario. Whatever you do, don't list anything positive on this forum having anything to do with Ontario. That goes without saying (unless you just LIKE being flamed). Now we got a brand new name change. When are we gonna realize, dare I say? Swedish Moras for eight dollars. Look into them. Not nearly as many name changes, great quality, and um, eight bucks. Carbon steel. Easily sharpened and maintained. Not to cause any controversy or anything but what is this, six name changes in two years??? Er.... :eek:

Mora. Look into them. They're less than ten bucks. Don't be a "rat, ontario, newt, whatever it is now essay or somesuch) fanboy. And an added benefit.... You don't have to keep up with ten name (or ownership) changes per year. Yikes. Feelin' the flames. Ouch!!

Look into Mora. They're eight bucks and they've had the same ownership for more than twelve months straight. :p Cheers.
 
You know what, I think you're right. Time to go get this RAT Pack tattoo changed to Mora. Damn.
 
What will the Rat pack to do now? Not only do they have to flame the Newt and Ontario owners mercilessly, but now it looks like they're gonna have to flame the Rat owners as well. Oh my. What to do? This could get interesting, quicklike. Who are these new guys anyhow. Anybody heard of Essay?? :(
 
How in the sam hell did you manage to rack up a post count that high? If going into new forums and blasting them is your thing, I don't see how you aren't banned yet.

Ermmm.... Because. Up until today (or whenever this name change went into effect) the prevailing attitude around here was "if it aint't Rat, it ain't sch##t". If you had a Newt or an Ontario, you were just out of luck. You weren't part of "the club". Now there ain't NOBODY part of "the Club" and I think it's hilarious. Yep, I'm gonna get flamed for this thread. But the flamers need to look at the past few months when Ontario and Newt Rat owners were looked at as subhuman. What of the "genuine" Rat owners now? Huh? Unconditional warranty? Hummmmm....
 
I really have no idea what your problem is or what set you off but you earned an infraction for trolling. Congrats.

Your points frankly make no sense, the warranty is still intact as is the RAT pack. I've seen no instances of pack members flaming someone for owning anything, perhaps I missed it but I think it's more you being delusional.

Umm...this severely borders on trolling (and it's not often I point that finger) but I don't think that anyone here will downplay the high performance/price ratio of a Mora. Jeff himself has said that nobody NEEDS his knives, and that he could get through his whole life with nothing but and Old Timer pocket knife and a $5 machete.

We buy ESEE knives because we like them. We also buy all sorts of other knives, too, including Moras. The crew here is more about a mindset and a lifestyle more than about the knives. Perhaps if you hung around here a bit more you might see that. I'm sorry that you feel as though we're some sort of group of snobs or something, but that's really not the case. :o
 
no one downed Ontario rats or anything else....but this was a RAT cutlery forum and now ESEE to stop the mass confusion....
