I waited patiently for about 2 weeks for one to pop up on the exchange...and it never did. So I placed an order through a dealer. If anyone sells theirs in the next week before mine gets here...I'll be mad at you.

Not really. I personally think you are making the right move because you know exactly what was done to your knife in the way of home repairs/tweaks: nothing. There is that benefit in being the first owner.
