When I try to post a new thread in Custom Knives for sale by individual I get a (?Microsoft?) screen that says that "This page can't be displayed" Following all the usual steps and protocols and I can post on other forums with out problems. Please advise. Thanks! Tom
 
Yes, I guess. I can't post using that link either. Would it help to start my account over from scratch? New account, username, etc.??
 
That should not be necessary. A new account would use the same hardware and software as the current account. We usually recommend trying different browsers, or clearing possibly corrupted cookies. You could also reset your internet connection -- turn it off, restore it after a few minutes.
 
Chattcat, I have trouble from time to time as well posting a simple 2-3 word reply. Or sometimes as I reply, the forums hang for 30 seconds then I get a database error. No rhyme or reason. What worked for me is changing browsers, for a time it's been ok. Firefox and Chrome worked.
 
Thank you for trying to help. I tried Chrome without success. I did a system restore to a date a few days ago when everything was working well with no luck. All other systems and forums, etc. seem to be working well. I will try the other recommendations listed above. Thanks!

I have tried to post a knife in Customs by individual from half a dozen different computers in multiple locations using three browsers and I get the same response each time. The only common thread would seem to be my user name and password. Do you think it would useful for me to open an entirely new account? Any more suggestions?

No, don't open a new account. Can you post a one word threads in the sales section? If it allows that, you may be able to edit the rest of it in.
 
It took a few words and no more! Can't add text by editing either. Stirred up a bunch of impatient knife knuts!
