WOW!

I traded for a mag'd CG-ASH1 - if only to feel the diff. WOW. Night and day. I didn't think a blade this thick would benefit from mag handles. I WUZ WONG!

Altho I may not be able to keep my sandpaper away from them. :) Just pull down the high spots a bit and make it more palm-shaped.

I agree! I have multiple examples of both handle contours, and prefer the Magnums.

I got little hands and prefer the standard on these monsters. I too was thinking of taking the sandpaper to them. I decided to wait on the hog blade though. On that one I think I will immediately strip it and start sanding.

I did not get the mags because i have a FBMLE and i find the handles are a bit to big for my hands. Seeing that is my only Busse with Mag handles I thought i would try the Standard. I hope I like the standard when it arrives.

Funny, I have handled both and am completely neutral on which is preferred.

LOL, that's got to help everyone trying to decide which way to go... I guess it's one of those things you just have to try for yourself!

I didn't like the mags on the FBMLE - I also found it too thick. But a different handle design.

On the CGFBM, mags are a must. I've got a std Snake only b/c snake don't come in mag. :( My other is a mag for sure. I had a third that I sanded down a bit, as seen by others here, and loved, yet gave as an X-mas gift.

I did NOT like my mag-handled Hell Razor. I think the differential was too extreme on a thin blade.

I'm ready to unwrap this bad boy and fondle it again, but my asst. will think I'm a nut. :)

Mags all the way...

I love my Magnums, and I am so glad Busse went to giving you a choice between slab thickness.

For tiny palms porkers, I love to have mag for a thinner blades as oppose to standard scale for Fatty like ASH1.
