Haven't been here for a while but I was going through some old pics and realized there is one that I really, really, really, don't regret letting go of

I wanted it originally, love the steel choice....and After waiting so long..... It was Not for me after I got it in hand, instantly I knew I would sell it.
Major letdown!
It seems many agree.

Lots are for sale.
Soon, they will be cheap. Maybe I'll buy one for a hundy, and turn it into a proper poker?

i thinkk if it were thinner stock, further back POB, ffg or fconvev it wouldve been perfect.

or maybe just 2 long 2 handed version

Forsaken Gemini, SAR5 - later

Forsaken Gemini because nothing competes with a TGLB ( unless it’s a much preferred DS8 ). It may have been the CBT.. the knife itself seemed like it would perform well as a general camp hacker.

SAR5 because the handle just never felt comfortable in any grip - to me anyway. If the SAR5 handle was mated to a 9 inch blade , thinned regarding the width - that would be an improvement.

Just unsolicited opinions, thank you for letting me rant.

At least 90% of the ones I let go. There are a few oops in there, but not too many. The nice thing is most of the folks they went to loved them, so it was a win, win.

I wondered why it took 10 posts to catch the sarcasm.

I miss the TGLB and especially the Scrap Yard Wiener Dog that I sold.

I was not of sound mind and now I miss that Dog.

No actual regrets on kin I’ve sold, mainly because I’ve held onto nearly everything.

-Sold a CG Ratmandu because I grabbed a RMD LE off the Exchange while waiting for fufillment.

-Sold my Rodent Solution and Rodent Trail. Nothing wrong with them, just prefer my BG AMS and BG SOS.

-Sold a Scrapmax 460, the War Dog handle just didn’t work for me. Recently bought a WS-621 to give it another shot, but still not crazy about it.

-Sold a BG Boss Jack because I didn’t care for the green micarta in person and prefer my Jackmandu.

Many other blades that didn’t totally click with me immediately were modded to my preferences. Coatings can be stripped, scales can be shaped, blades can be reprofiled or reground, etc…
