A friend told me that there's no screw-in crown in both Luminox and Traser watch. Is it true?

How could it reach military water-resistance spec then?
THANKS! :)

My Luminox has the screw-in crown. I am sure that Trasers must have it too. The glass scratches too easily though.

During the first year when I just bought my watch, it would freeze (literally) in tempreature below 20 degree Celsius. The seconds hand just stops moving and the watch is dead. Warm it up and it starts ticking again  It is working OK now after some abuse I put it through.

The metal cased Luminoxes have a screw down crown.

The 3000 series and the like do not have a screw down crown.
