No search for paying members?

Ummmmm... not sure what you mean, your description says you are a "registered user", (as opposed to say a gold member), which means you won't see the search button.

If you have upgraded then you'll need to wait till your upgrade is processed.
 
I did upgrade to basic member. Search button is there now, It just doesn't work.

If you're saying that nothing happens when you click on it (versus markksr's suggestion above), close your browser, clear your cookies and/or cache, and relaunch your browser.

You'll need to log back into BFC, but that seems to fix nearly all "worked yesterday but not today" problems.
 
The search function works if you coddle it a little. A blank screen means one of your search terms is so common it overloaded search with too many hits -- something like "edge" will do that, no matter what other search terms you add. Please read Sticky: Search Engine FAQs & Tips
 
Thanks Cougar. that worked when I took out edge. what was that thing I had to verify on my CP?
 
I think I'm going to make all "registered users" have brown names. It'd simplify who's what and how.
