Something I've noticed, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think I've ever seen a used HI Khukuri up for sae. Have I just not been paying attention, or, as I figure after getting my first one here, is it jsut that noe one wants to sell theirs? I can definitely believe it would be second.

ANyways, just something I'd noticed, wondered if I was only one

The only ones I recall seeing, were to benefit a fellow that was having a hard time with medical expenses. My guess is that once you get them you just have to keep them. Hopefully, I'll know soon enough.:D

If you run a search on the exchange forum you will see that HI knives do come up from time to time. They are usually sold very quickly with a number of them going straight to that well known michievous duck in South Florida.

I have bought several used, mostly on BFC and Knifeforums. They don't ususually last long. There have been a few on Ebay, but not many. I usually find my older khuks on ebay.

Without trying, I managed to get a small collection. I discovered that I have HIKV. I think most of us have it. you will too.

Living 132 miles from Uncle, I get to see and feel stuff in person when I stop by. No better way to find the special ones, though they somehow seem to find the right owner anyway.

are secondary market blades. I wouldn't have found a YCS and the even more elusive HI Falcatta otherwise. AK Bowie also.

Often sellers of HI stuff will drop a note in the Cantina to let us know that ones up fer grabs.

Uncle Bill used to say 3 of 4 sales were to repeat customers. Last time it was up to 80% repeat customers and it may have gone higher still by now.
