No sound from my computer?

I'm not getting any sound from my computer. The Device Manager indicates my sound card is working correctly.

Is it possible for my system to indicate the device is working correctly even if it is not?

Update: resolved, needed to reinstall the driver for some reason. Thanks for looking.

I see you have fixed it, but if Device Manager says all was fine, it was probably the Windows, or sound card mixer unit. Re-installing the drivers resets the settings. It is under the device in advanced settings.
