One of the reasons I ended up with my plain gray Umfaan was because I can keep it in my pocket all day and it would never show any tarnish or grime. This is obvisouly a benefit of the titanium handles and the stone washedBG-42 steel blade.
I've got a question though. I also have a William Henry fishtail oak kestrel with silver nickel bolsters that just loves to tarnish. I've tried some ways to outsmart the tarnish. Mr metal cleaned it up well and didn't mess up the oak. Tuff cloth seemed to protect it for a day or two. So now I've got a nice knife that doesn't like the rigors of everyday use. Now for the question. Has anyone found a good way to prevent tarnish on silver nickel bolsters or is this a lost cause.
Forever happy with my Umfaan and soon to join it a plain gray small Sebenza.
