You know, I don't think I've EVER seen a Congress or a Trapper or Stockman or any traditional folder for sale in the "Productions For Sale" forum. Why do you suppose that is?

Seems like Ebay is the only place to find anything interesting and/or really get a deal on them.

Even though a few of us here at BF enjoy them, I have noticed that when either Custom or Production multiblades show up in our exchange area they do not do very well.

A year or two ago I put up some Case Classic Sunfish in the exchange forum at very fair prices compared to what they were going for on ebay. They never sold. Once I did put them up on ebay they went for significantly more than what I was asking for them here. Now I just put them (older and an occasional antique factory multiblades) up on ebay every once in a while and actually have a little guilt as to how much people are paying for them.

From the popularity of Custom and well done factory multiblades that exists we just do not see that much going on as far as sales on BF. They do show up at times. (I just picked up a Chamblin whittler here at a great price.)

The custom ones I've seen on the custom forums are WAY cool. I haven't been buying any custom tacticals lately, but I'm definately thinking of picking up a nice custom multi-blade with pearl handles or something. Perhaps people just fall in love with these customs and are keeping them?

Still, you'd expect people to want to unload the low-end ones to buy customs; or maybe TF collectors don't unload.

Prople probably just think that nobody'd be interested in that folding hunter that's been knocking around between their pocket change and lip balm for a year.
