This is going to sound a bit terse. It has been a long day...and I just got a call...from somebody who said it has been posted recently in BF that I am selling TEXACO Type A again!

WTF!

I did a search on my user name...and come to find out...somebody posted on the 11th that I was selling type "A"?

For one and all...We ran out...got no more...all gone...

Tell your friends and neighbors...

NO MAS! NO MAS! COMPRENDEN!?!

Now I tried to do this all PM like...but the member who posted this doesn't want PM's so I am going to have to address him directly.

DAQOTAH,
Before you post ...check yer facts. You made life hard on me and mine. My little daughter likes to sleep at night...which she cannot do when the phone is ringing because somebody read your post and wants some oil.

I apologize for my harsh words and rough approach.

Please guys...Type "A" is dead...by this I mean...no longer available in small lots...read 55 gallon drums...that is what my distributor folks say. If you do not have some...try to find some...if you can't...find another alternative and get on with it...

Thanks for your patience....

Shane

Guys,

Just another note...

One of the reasons I am trying to nip this bud right now...is

I have nasty surgery coming up on the 24th...I'll be down for anywhere from 2 weeks to two months...

And on the 21st of November...Wendy and I are expecting our second born.

We really need to have some peace and quiet...while we attend to family matters.

Phones ringing...for calls like this are tough...mostly because I hate to turn folks away...it is like I let them down...

THanks again...

Shane

Does this mean you don't have anymore. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Someone had to give you s***. and this will also kick this back to the top for anyone that missed it.

FOR THOSE THAT MISSED IT, SHANE HAS NO MORE TEXACO A. :(

Good luck and a speedy recovery from your surgery.

Bill

well,,, aside from the jokes, i sure hope you all get threw this tuff period and bounce back.
as a great man(red green) once said"keep your stick on the ice, we're all pulling for you."

Thanks guys for you humor...and your good wishes!

The Red Green comment really got me...he's oneof my favorite...reminds me of one of my uncle's...or all of them...

I should still be able to type...so I will be around...

Shane

Good luck with the surgery and family matters. Positive energies and well wishes sent to you and yours.

I'll have to look, but I think it's
1-800 old fart :D

Wonder what a 55 gal. drum would go for? Lots of freight expense! Shane, we're pulling for you to get through your hard times. It'll go faster than you realize. BTW, "Doc" is going to try and get ahold of you, but not about oil.

Far as Know...you can't get a drum anymore...

If I wanted it in Sheridan...I have to order a 1500 gallon lot...that will get it to Denver...to ship it here...i have to have a minimum 6000 gallon mixed order...

LAst I heard almomst a year ago....it was slated to be discontinued. Rumor mill said Shell may be making something like it....

My sisters birthday is 21st November and she is one of the finest people that has ever graced this earth. So if it is 21st Nov. and a girl, you will have a gem Sir! BTW, her name is Elizabeth.
I do not need any of the Texaco stuff and I hope your surgery goes well. Hope it has nothing to do with the hands, knifemakers need good hands, or the eyes, knifemakers need good eyes, or the feet, knifemakers need good strong feet, or the......
Good luck Shane and fam.
sincerely,
Mike

I'll take 1 quart and 1 pint delivered in two seperate containers. Please place on the back porch facing south and just out of the wind. If you could, make sure the labels are facing to the front. :D

All kidding aside. I wish you the best and hope you have a speedy recovery. Maybe you can look back and laugh about this one day. Take care and keep us informed of your progress.

This has gotta be good stuff so I will take a gallon too thanks. :D

Yes, please keep us posted on your progress and kindly announce when Wendy brings forth the new Justice.
Boys are okay too, I have 3, aged 22, 20 and 18. All gems too, just in need of a bit of polishing. Mmmmm, maybe I should teach them to make knives once I have learned enough.....get rid of some of the rough edges.
You are right Shane, even though I am a newbie, this forum makes me feel like I have a lot of buddies even though I have never met any of the guys....yet. Hope that will change someday.
Take care. Mind the Mambas when you bring the juice, I brought some with me. :D :D
