Yesterday evening I went to see the NOAN at UNR-Lawlor Event Center. International club organizes the largest student run- event on the campus, Night Of All nations (NOAN). With performance, food , and community members from over 60 countries, NOAN has grown to be a well-known event in Reno area, bringing in about 4000 attendees. I meet few Nepali student from Nepal they served some Nepali food Momo Aalu ko Tarkari and Chatni.

That sounds like the international Festival that Snow College down in Ephraim has every year. Fun stuff. By the way, we have some Students here from Nepal that I briefly got to meet yesterday afternoon. The Apartment Management threw a Hot Dog roast and I cooked the dogs. I don't eat pork and of course the Nepali don't do Cow so we had Turkey and Chicken Dogs for us and beef for the other students. It was fun. Sorry no pics, was to busy cooking and serving.... The Nepali girls were quite the lookers too..

Neat pictures and thanks!

One of the nice things about Seattle is the myriad of cultures we have here and how many different cultural celebrations we have, including a Nepali one.

I'm also blessed that in my city and beat, there is a fantastic Nepali/Tibetan/Indian restaurant run by a Nepalese family. Great food, squad often eats there.
