So I was goofing around on the bay last night and accidentally won a Nobleman. I say accidentally because I put in a ridiculously low bid and ended up winning.

So what can you tell me about this knife? The reviews I have read (after the purchase) say it is only so-so...but I thought I would come ask the experts.

Every one I have handled was extremely well made. Fit and finish were just amazing for the money. I haven't took the plunge and bought one, since I'm left handed and the pocket clip isn't reversible.

They are part of Bucks import line, with I believe 440A blades.

I have the smaller version, the "colleague". I found the same as Bear Claw. Well made, 440A, locks up tight. Blade on mine was measured 58 HRC. It holds an edge well for what it is.

I gotta ad, I've toyed with several low cost pocketknives that had 440A blades, and at the risk of getting ran out of town, I've found that it can be just fine in knives this size.

I wouldn't want a 8" tree chopper in 440A, but little cutters it seems OK.

Cool! Thanks for the feedback guys. This thing won't be a beater anyway, but will fit in my pocket nicely for bumming around the office and stuff. Should be a little more comfortable to carry than my Spyderco Manix!

this is my sons knife one of his favorites:thumbup: Excellent FF and it was affordable to boot, sharpens up nicely and seems to hold it.:D
Win/Win
