Hey guys! Over the years, I’ve made several Damascus knife models with animal head pommels. Got a panther, falcon, wolf, bull, lion, rhino, and jaguar in the lineup. I even tried to do a "Big Five" series but never managed to pull off an elephant... Let’s say it’s tough to make an elephant head work on a pommel while still keeping a comfortable grip.

The Damascus steel is all forged in-house, and these blades have held up well in the field—solid performers for actual hunting use. For corrosion protection, I recommend wiping down the blades with specialized wax or oil. In my experience, wax gives the best results.

I’ve added three short video reviews after the photos—it might be interesting to check out!

Hey guys, I wanted to share some photos of my knife, "Golden Fleece." This knife's unique features include a bolster designed as a stylized hoplite helmet and a pommel shaped like a ram's head. The blade shape is reminiscent of the Kopis sword.

Materials: Damascus steel, brass, ebony, with silver plating and gold gilding.

Let me know what you think!

Very beautiful knives. I love the wood carving done on the handle and sheath of the lion knife.

Very different. I assume you lost wax cast? Silver, or white bronze? All in-house like the steel? Not many knife makers do this for sure. Very fine work.
