So how do u guys clean your blades

I use choji Japanese oil and rice paper to prevent oxidation and rust from the elements

My neighbor swears up and down wd 40 will work just fine on his blades and 30,000 shotguns

What do u use one your snody pieces?

Besides lightly oiling it and leaving a thin film is there something that works to remove tree sap/oils besides mild soap?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated as I just want to protect my heirloom blades so they will be nice when I pass them to my children and grandchildren :D

What do y'all make of the wd40 craze?

Seriously? I mean, I can't help but comment on your posts.. get over yourself. Get some blades up on this Snodygallery.com --impress us with real shit, not talk. I still have to call you out as fake as fuc*. If I'm wrong, then I'll shut up. Maybe. Limp.

Agreed, do we really need a 2,000 word essay on how to clean a knife? LOL

Some seriously strange characters having been showing up in Snodyland lately.

It's important to me to take care of the blades I want to stay pristine and pass down from generation to generation of my family :)

I have 3000 dollar snody knife on the way so I'd like to make sure i prevent rust and oxidation and that the care is similar to a high end Japanese Katana...which i use japanese choji oil on...and I wanted to make sure that's alright for titanium, carbide, and Damascus :)

Thank you!

Sloth and old boy I'm sorry u guys aren't impressed....this is really an impressive place in general with an impressive knifemaker makimg impressive videos and impressive members.

Thanks for joining the quest for artistic cutlery I hope to inspire everyone to stop hating :)

Hating on me is like hating on yourself....I'm here for you guys !

If you really want to be impressed, just stay tuned to Snody, he is the one doing all the impressive stuff :)

If I happen to do a little bit of impressing from here to there it's not gonna be for personal gain, it's gonna be to contribute awesome vibes to y'all cuz if you made it here into this this knife makers forum ... I don't care if u have no friends and no job....u are doing something right just follow your passion and stay positive and true to yourself and the dream will become a reality....

Just look at Snody..little kids want to be like mike when they grow up....is that impressive?

I agree with you Artistic. Not sure why everybody blew up. Just because you have an opinion does not mean you must post it. If I had a 3000 dollar knife I would want to protect it in anyway I can!

To be fair to them, I wrote a long post about the history of the question, with funny analogies about my neighbor, his hunting talent, some of his toys, some of our adventures using katana machetes to cut through brush and compare our sword skills, and I understand their point too...that they don't want to read my long stories that don't apply to them.

Like in th old detective tv shows drag net..."just the facts ma'am"

So I won't flame them...and we can all work together to help Mike's artwork seen by people outside the community....it's a huge world out there and everyone respects fine art , hard work, passion, dedication, Postive reaction to hate.

People like a lot of stuff.

Hate is a form of love. It's funny I'm laughing with them and it sells....

I need to start makimg videos and sharing my collection and other gear and systems and people will understand I'm just a regular guy with an above average hustle. I would like to make some money but I'm making long term investments.

The comment was made somewhere I need to get over myself...that's true too gotta give the dude some credit...I'm not special...I had to flame myself just to figure out where I fit in here.

But there are bigger and better things ahead I'm not even tripping ....see where it says platinum member? That means I have a set of rules I'm gonna stick to and your success is mine.

I want everyone to succeed, especially the haters.

Haters are One of my greatest assets and inspire most of my best work . And those same dudes are gonna be waiting in line to buy my sheaths. Forgiveness is a great great thing :D

The pimp is on another level and he has taught me not to even let it phase me. I'm sensitive there have been a few incidents this week that made me really sad but at the end of it all....it's made everyone stronger. This forum is getting better everyday.
