The tall blade is a crkt hisshou - certain victory Showing some love to master James Williams design....it was made specifically for our troops in Afghanistan to take tali-cave arms and heads off

He is a top notch World Class Samurai Instructor, Military martial Arts pioneer, tactical special operations instructor, and Katana and Tanto designer.

I dont really care for production knives but I do show respect and homage to the Japanese heritage and their homage to the Samurai is indeed a home run and much appreciated in the martial arts community. Do I believe in the companies who produce and profit off the designs? Not so much but the blades I do employ from them are second to none....I market directly to our Boys defending our freedom and I believe any of the knives on the table are a great choice for deployment and tactical CQB

I'm learning more about VG1 San Mai 3 I have no idea how it stacks up but from my experiences I am impressed.
I must admit I am Tanto crazy but you are right those factory knives don't even belong in the same room much less the same photo spread as the beauty of Snody customs. Totally different cause and heart but the result is mostly the same.

You gotta respect them because they attract mainstream and bring more fans to the blade community who other wise would have been happy with their small collection of kabar Swiss army and buck knives they probably inherited from grandpa

It's my belief that most of the population is a blade enthusiast they just don't where to go and how to express it with the day to day hustle and bustle trying to make ends meat and put food on the table

And sloth I will hook you up once I get situated in my new apartment moving is such a bitch.
Have some faith my friend :) I see you putting in the paid dues and you will be rewarded just as all your criticism is well warranted and I understand its from the heart. Gotta put some food on the table and if that means selling a couple blades here and there than I stand guilty as charged. :)

I'm doing my best to balance hooking our LEO and military members up which has been a huge success this week

I'm very proud to be hooking up several deployed soldiers this week at no profit because they go over there and spread the custom gospel to the whole unit as well as provide a great place to have the blades tested under the toughest conditions...so ultimately our military is a great way to find out how quality custom blades stack up against the competition...I've made it clear I support custom knife makers way before I support corporations who profit from sending work overseas and profiting big from it.

I would pay more to have a custom any day yet I'm still curious to find out how the steel and blades match up under heavy combat use. Your blade is your last line of defense and if you have to employ it you are within deaths and evils reach so it is very important to me, very important that our troops are well educated because they are targeted from marketing every which way and there is no one resource to say what you should trust your life with vs what your budget is

It's a lot like firearms, you may start with a low end brand and move your way up.

All things considered we also look at what holds its value for resale and we all know snody customs is money in the bank

I also believe in response to the violence, cutlery is about artistic expression and peace, and that we must promote this when the main vibe going around is that you have to use them to slice stab and decapitate.

I would much rather circumstances be different but since they are not it's important to have strong values, support reality, and promote hope for a new order to respect of all life.

Sometimes I see and hear things that makes me sick to my stomach about the blood grooves and designers intentionally promoting death, but this is a reality and I'd rather see our boys come home safe to their loved ones and ultimately want them to have blades that are going to meet all these requirements in the face of harms way and the vision of peace.

It should also be noted that Snody knives have gotten nothing but top notch reviews from our soldiers and that doesn't come as a surprise. I hope as the data broadens we find they far surpass the competition,we know that they do, but it's nice to be able to plot it on a chart and scientifically back it up.

There is also a demand that far exceeds the supply which causes us to evaluate all supply choices much more closely with a fine tooth comb, I want to know everything I can, and it's hard to when learning myself about how different steel qualities stack up....

It is dually noted that coming with tactical high quality sheaths that support a variety of mounting and teklock variances is a huge huge advantage your blade and system have to be at the ready and that comes second to nothing I would rather have an inferior import blade at the ready than a higher quality blade that's not any day of the week

However world class sheath makers are working closely with me to provide the most innovative and custom solutions available in the world and I think the community is going to be very very pleased with what I have drawn up

Not to mention we have cnc machines capable of customizing 3-d logos onto these sheaths that come in od green, coyote, tan, all liscenced camos, black, pink and just about any other color one would want for their top notch customs....expect to see more in about two weeks

These sheaths are also lined with a patented material to protect the knives from sheath wear, as well as provide silent blade deployment and replacement for stealthy missions when even the sound of a knife could could compromise mission success :D

Expect big things

Also big shoutout to UltraReef and Mike Snody for getting the gear here fast up the gear

No, you didn't. I didn't sell any of those knives. Still got 'em. Some here in Houston, some in LA, but all are still mine. Only thing that's gone is one of the Stunna Rings, gave it to a good friend for his b-day last year.
