Non Deep Carry Clip for Sage (Specifically Sage 2)

I'm looking for a non-deep carry clip for a Sage 2 and maybe for a Sage 1 (I think its the same just blackened) Does anyone make them?

Before anyone says "why would you want that," I prefer the little bit of the handle above the pocket to grab hold of that a deep carry clip doesn't give.

Ideally, one could just bend the wire clip in the opposite direction, but I'd like to maintain that clip as an option. That may end up screwing it up too.

There are, or at least were, several Spyderco models that used a non deep carry wire clip with the same physical dimensions as the deep carry ones used on the Sages (and a lot of other models). I'm sure Spyderco still has them available and would sell you one if you explained what you wanted.

Yeah that Manix 2 LW clip looks like I was imagining and will do what I'm wanting it to do.

Is there any definite on if it would fit the Sage 1 and/or 2?

It will fit, I have swapped wire clips before. The only things to consider are FRN knives with wire clips (Manix, UKPK's, Dragonfly) have a patch of smooth FRN that the clip will need to hit or you will have a real pocket shredder. Also, the wire clips do rub and leave witness marks on scales much more so than the standard clips. I have a Sage 1 (black and LW) clip on my Manix LW, and the Manix LW (shiny and not LW) clip on my Sage 3. I also put my shorty Dragonfly clip on my Caly 3 CF. I would like to have a black shorty for my Caly, but I have not seen that clip on any knife. There are some oddball wire clips though. The Meerkat comes to mind.
