Thanks! I thought about doing this for awhile. I liked how it flipped but the tab would get in the way at times. This knife FLICKS so well I figured it was time for the tab to go bye-bye.

Didn't do anything to the hole. Just hacked off the flipper and sanded it smooth.

Went at it on the Domino last night.
Rounded spine, ground and re did ramp jimping and made holes in scale to match the liner.

Out of curiosity, what did the flipper get in the way of? Or was it mainly for aesthetics or for something to do?

I guess I figure if there is another opening method and I don't want to flip it, I just won't use it. But that's just me and I like that it acts as a guard.

To the other poster, I personally wouldn't chamfer the hole. I've had a different brand that did and it didn't catch my finger and was a bit harder to open. The nice crisp edge really helps grab when opening or flicking the knife.

Again, all my opinion though I am curious what it got in the way of that the handle wouldn't?

The flipper, I don't like it hitting my finger when closing and since it had a spydie hole the flipper tab is not needed on this knife.
All the other things I did where to have fun with it.

So my deep carry clips got snagged and broke.

The stock clip is to shiny so I did a little grinding to dull it and remove the spyder logo
