Good job. Not a fan of flipper style myself, this improves the look of the knife a lot, in my opinion.

Out of curiosity, what did the flipper get in the way of? Or was it mainly for aesthetics or for something to do?
I guess I figure if there is another opening method and I don't want to flip it, I just won't use it. But that's just me and I like that it acts as a guard.
To the other poster, I personally wouldn't chamfer the hole. I've had a different brand that did and it didn't catch my finger and was a bit harder to open. The nice crisp edge really helps grab when opening or flicking the knife.
Again, all my opinion though I am curious what it got in the way of that the handle wouldn't?
