Non Knife For Sale (Individual) Forum.

Anytime someone sells something like a Gransfors Bruks axe, or a Hanwei Kantana, or a Cold Steel Boar Spear... it can sometimes get lost in the hundreds of other fixed blade posts. Probably not enough traffic to be worth it... but I wanted to suggest a Non Knife Cutting Tool section to the For Sale By Individual section of the Exchange. A place where you could list unusual cutting tools... not gadgets and gear... still cutting tools... but things like Axes, Hatchets, Swords, Spears, machetes, halberds, Not sure if Maces and Flails would fit in there but you get the idea. Just an idea.

I wouldn't mind a forum like that. Maces also, and multitools too. It always confuse me how multitools got put into Gadgets & Gear instead of Knives & Tools -- they've got knife blades and tools together.

It's a toss up. An axe is closer to a fixed blade than a folder. A multitool in my eyes is considered a piece of gear and a gadget. My only problem with adding yet another for sale forum is the break in time involved. People may not be likely to find it. When the For Sale by individuals (folders) was added, i moved dozens and dozens and dozens of ads despite the clear "This forum is closing" warning thread.

Well I think it would help the members as well. Sometimes if you had say a Hanwei Tanto... it might not get the attention it otherwise would in a forum purpose built for unusual cutting tools. More exposure for your item means a better exchange experience.

But I do understand the clutter issue as well and the mess a transition might cause.
