Non-knife threads in General

Since I have received a couple of warnings and one infraction, for posting in the wrong forums, I can't help but wonder why this thread is allowed to remain in General Knife Discussion?

When a member posted about mini-tools and said he was off topic, I commented the entire thread was off topic. The OP jumps in calls me a man's name and asked me if it was a slow day. Claims that item is knife related so it's OK. Nearly all the moved threads are somewhat knife related, so that isn't so. Later all the posts were removed relating to that.

I've seen many threads moved from General about anything not to do with knives, when an exception is made and a thread about an mini-anvil is allowed to remain, just what kind of message does that give all the other members? That the rules don't apply for some people? Anyway I think it's unfair to allow one to stay and move others. The thread about the mini-anvil clearly does not belong in General, other threads about non-knife items are promptly moved.

A moderator posted in it and removed my posts and the OP's insulting me. I don't know if the same mod did remove the posts, but a mod did anyway, probably the same one.

If a moderator posted in it and removed my posts and the original posters in it about the inappropriate content, then I would think at least one did see the thread?

Of course, once a moderator sees the thread and does something about it, that's it. Until one of us sees it or gets a report, we can't very well do anything about it. We aren't ignoring problems, but we don't get around to doing evrrything when we are busy somewhere else.

If a mod removed all of my posts in that thread and the original posters responding to mine about the subject and didn't move the thread then, yes I got the idea threads,about mini anvils are okay now.
 
We get sharpening questions
We get what is my gadget questions
We get how much should I sell my gadget posts
We get xyz vendor is a scammer posts
We get spam from all over the world
All in General Knife Discussion.
I spend hours cleaning that place up, every day, 7 days a week.

We get to as many as possible and move them accordingly. I closed the thread after Insee you and Ted bickering over what amounts to be childish BS. If it will satisfy folks, when I get home from work and I am good and ready I can write some infractions for you and Ted both since you were both disruptive. Who started what first is the question. This bullcrP has to stop already, everyone is sick and tired of the bickering. I should ask Spark to make a preschooler membership level for some people that have impulse control problems.
