I have a northwest hunter with wood handle and a desert dagger with stacked leather handle.

Can anyone tell how many of each were made?
Were any other models put out with non-synthetic handles?
Are they worth any more than the standard models?

Thank you.

There was a special run of SOGs including the Desert Dagger that had Leather handles. Don't know how many were made, though I know they are rare. :D Saw a Wood handled Northwest Hunter too, though I can't remember if it was Customized or a limited run also. Hopefully Chris will be along shortly to set us straight....

Either way, Way cool!! Got pics? :D:D

Working on getting the info. Give me a little time... I may not be able to post until after the Blade show though. I leave tomorrow and will be away from my computer playing with knives all weekend.

Any one going to be at the show feel free to come by the SOG booth and say hi. We will have samples of all the new knives.

Chris, have a safe trip to and from Blade! And Enjoy your self!!

I bought both knives in 1993, and am guessing that was when they were made. The brass guards on both are slightly tarnished but otherwisw knives and sheaths are in new condition.

I scanned some pictures but the site won't let me attach anything. My paid membership must have expired or something.
