How do one keep a knife with non removable scales from becoming rusty under them?

Im talking specifically about a Bark River Bravo with micarta scales i just orderd.
All my more expensive knifes up until this one have been in stainless steel..so never an issue.

Don't worry about it. Corrosion won't form under epoxy. Its hermetically sealed under there, for all intents.

Umm, I’ve actually seen corrosion under a handle that’s been used and not babied. It is not “hermetically sealed”. I honestly wouldn’t worry about it though, any corrosion would be minimal and would take many years of severe neglect for it to become an issue. If you are really worried, you could spray the handle with WD40 every now and then to displace any moisture that may be trapped, but I honestly still think that’s too much.
