I sqeezed these in between orders (somehow). For those of you that don't like the scandi grind, here are a couple flat ground knives that would do the trick. 4 inch blades and 4 1/4 inch handles, made from 1/8 1095.

99.00 plus shipping, and I WILL ship to Canada!

kydex or leather sheaths available....

You HAVE to ship to Canada or you'll lose half your pitdog-generated sales :P

That said, I'd love one of these but I'm tapped out on cash at the moment. Why is it everything hits at once? I've bought a few knives and a gun, and then all of a sudden my fiancee and I have to renew our car tags (which in Arizona cost a percentage of what your cars are worth, so there goes $300) plus her car needs work. Oh well, I'll just drool over them for now and wait for pit to take pictures of them on his hikes :P

Wood handle is still available, for 89.00 I will make a pouch style leather sheath and ship this in the USA

Mark, is the spine on the wood handled version straighter than the green micarta version that pitdog got?

just asking in case there's some camera distortion going on. the blade looks much shorter than the numbers, sooo i'm wondering if it just might be some distortion.

i keep coming back and looking...

Ok fixer, LOL no distortion, I just need my eyes checked. The knife Pit took had a slight drop point and had a 4 inch blade. The wood handled knife is a straight spine. From the handle to the tip of the blade is 3 5/8ths inch. The handle is 4 1/4 inches long. Just measured all of this to make sure. :D

ok, that makes sense. i know my eyes are a mess until i get my new glasses in a week or so, but that didn't look like 4".

if the blade shape was more like the other one i'd be all over it. it's sweet, but i just don't think i can fit it in the budget right now.
