Non slip bottom for steel bottles?

Hi all. I am a huge fan of Kleen Kanteen steel bottles and use them everyday. I bought two of them for my girlfriend as she has motor control problems and somtimes will accidentally squeeze a plastic water bottle spilling it all over herself and her wheelchair. Now that she has the Kleen Kanteens the spills are no more. However... the new problem is that they are very slick on the bottom. Having motor control problems sometimes when she reaches for her bottle she'll hit it from the side and the bottle will of course slide on it's slick bottom and go falling into the floor where she can't reach it. Or, when she sits it down it'll slide around and she'll drop it that way.

SO! I want to find something like a rubber koozie that can slide over the bottom and add a non slip bottom to the can. Something that can be taken on and off is a plus as the cans go in the dishwasher. I thought about gluing rubber padding to the bottom but I think eventually this will deteriorate and become an issue. Any ideas or advice or links to products already existing would be appreciated. The reason I have used an actual Koozie is becuase they are usually foam and don't have the traction I'm looking for. Rubber is the ideal material here. Thanks so much.

Most koozies seem to be made from neoprene, which i don't know will provide a decent non-slip surface. Might i suggest getting a neoprene koozie, and gluing a piece of "sticky" rubber to the bottom, which in turn will make it easier to set down? I think the neoprene would create a good enough surface to make sure she gets a grip on it though.
(I tried to google for rubber koozies etc, but such a product seems non-existant.)

That's the best i can come up with.

I have a couple of rubber bottomed mugs and thermoses. They always tip over when I bump them because they don't slide. The problem was solved when I got some containers with either flip top or screw on lids. They can be carried upside down and keep stuff hot or cold. Because of the rubber gaskets, I wash them by hand. Sigg makes an SS bottle with a screw on lid, and Nissan makes an SS bottle with a flip top lid. Both are double wall vacuum insulated.

what does she typically set the bottle upon? perhaps you could non-slip the surface of the furniture rather than the bottle itself? that way nothing would slip away from her. you could also glue a strong coin magnet to whatever she sets the bottle on, then she could simply set it on the magnet and not worry about sliding or tipping over. home improvement stores sell this non slip drawer liner that can be put just about anywhere, its very grippy you could get some and cut it to shape or make a coaster out of it. check it out here. if you just want a rubber bottom on the bottle then use Plasti-Dip. its a rubber dipping fluid that dries on contact with air, its typically used on wrenches and tools so its very tough stuff.
