Non traditional Ulu knife

Buddy of mine asked me to make an Alaskan ulu for his girlfriend, more of a non traditional shape with an extended point. I've made a few "round knives" for leather work before, but this is my first ulu! 1/16" 1095 63HRC with purple heart wood for the handle. Thanks for looking!

Good for you for thinking independently,and neat execution,right on.It'd be interesting to hear how it works for her(i'd guess very well once she gets a hold of it).

As to it being "non traditional" i'd disagree,there were lots of asymmetric uluit (pl. of ulu in Inuktitut).
Even here, way up the Yukon,there's a number of types with a drawn-out forward point.
(admittedly not as radical as yours).
