I would like to further upgrade from Platinum to knifemaker in the near future now that I have a garage to work in, am getting shop time available, and through conversations ongoing it seems that I wouldn't be stepping on good knifemakers toes. I was wondering if there is a way to upgrade for Canadians that does not include credit cards? For helping us with a downpayment on our house we agreed to my father-in-law that we would not use our credit cards, and I try to be a man of my word. If not I guess I'll have to get a prepaid credit card down the line, but as of yet I do not have one. My platinum ends in Nov, so I have some time to work out renewal anyways, but I would like to facilitate the change sooner if possible.

Thanks.

You can get a prepaid card that is verified by Visa or similar. That has zero impact on your credit. It's like biying an iTunes card or a gift card. You can always use a creedit card, and pay the balance the same day. There is no interest unless you exceed the billing period. Either ay, there should no problem as long as you have the cash in hand.
