I'm looking for essentially a one stop shop to get some webgear. My quest started when I temporarily lost my Victorinox Swisstool when the factory belt loop on the belt pouch failed. When that happened I stopped carrying my Strider AR daily because I only had an old Gerber belt sheath that fit it. Now, my Tim Wegner ProHunter belt clip is serving me well but, the belt clip is tearing the heck out my front pocket and I have not found a suitable alterntive place to carry it. I need some good quality, reliable, and sturdy belt sheaths!

I also have been looking off and on for basically a tactical grocery bag. When in Europe, It was always easy to find a cheap poly reinforced bag, essentially made from the material you see in cheap poly tarps with a good handle attached. I found these to be very useful and cost effective even if they were not the most durable thing available (they beat the heck out of the cheap thin plastic bags my groceries are put in these days). I would like to find something made from 1000D cordura (or better ;)) that is basically paper grocery bag sized with thick comfortable handles that stand about 3 to 6 inches below my hands while standing with my hands against my legs. A simple closure for the top to secure the items inside when it tips over is a plus. Also it needs to be capable of carrying at least 25 pounds (10 pound sack of potatoes, a big bag of Citrus, a bag of onions, and some cans add up fast  when you don't shop that often).

I am not looking to bottom feed on the price but, I also don't want to pay $100 for grocery bag. I have already spoken to the folks at SOE Gear and they can fix me up with belt sheaths except for the ProHunter. I really think I need to get a belt sheath for a smaller folder like the ProHunter which will get it out of my pockets for convenience if nothing else, which are already loaded to the gunnels with gadgets in addition to the normal stuff like a billfold. The reinforced grocery bag is something I have not seen. There are plenty of cloth bags of various sizes but, so far I have not found one with the construction to carry a lot of weight comfortably.

Suggestions or where to look or who I should talk to

Thanks everyone!

I've had one of the open top models for years. I used to load three or four grocery bags into it, and sling the big handle straps over my shoulder to carry. Now they even have a zip-top version: the Extra-Large at 17"H x 19"W x 10"D. Regular handles 10", Long 14" is only $37.

I have two Maxpedition belt pouches. I usually carry my cellphone in the Medium Cellphone pouch, but sometimes I use the M2, which adds a zippered section to carry my harmonica, Victorinox Ranger, and Arc AAA, with room to spare, as well as having an outer cellphone pouch. My SOG Powerlock fits in the zippered section easily.

I found for folders.. the old 4 inch buck style, a good Bianchi double magazine pouch for nylon duty gear works well as a sheath for a regular belt, and holds the knife securely, but not too securely that you have to fight for an hour just to get it out for use.
