Hello everyone just wanted to say aloha! I am a new owner of an emerson knife cqc 7bw and I love this thing! Though I am a gun enthusiast I'm starting to get into knives. Since I like to customize my guns/rifles, I want to do the same with my knives. First off, does anyone know someone that can make me a custom clip for my emerson? I know they have the skull, lion, etc that you can purchase on the Emerson's website but I would like to have someone build me something custom.
My second question is: has anyone ceracoted their emmerson knife? I have done some of my guns as the finish holds up well, but skeptical of coating my knife? But if I do I plan on doing a tiger stripe design. I plan on buying at least 5 more emerson knives that I'm interested in but this one I want to make custom. Any help would be great! Thanks? I made this one with the Wolf Emblem. Wolf emblem is from a Final Fantasy 7 ring (bought the ring just to make the clip). Used the stock regular clip and just epoxied. I can't do them for other people unless its a gift lol.

Just a pic....threads love pictures ;)

That wolf is hot!!!! Dire wolf anyone?

OP, Steel flame, Pete grey, or you can go Leon's route above if you're creative. Otherwise, I stick with steel flame

Where can I get cool purple"ish" anodized titanium pivot screw you have on your knife?

- I have to custom framelock Emerson conversions where I had the titanium framelock and pocket clips cerakoted. I didn't do the blades since they have the standard Emerson BT coating. The cerakote holds up very well and looks great after two years. The clips have chips here and there from bumping into everyday things, but the finish still is there.
