Howdy, I'm Kent in Kansas City. Retired. Brand new to the hobby/business/obsession. I joined BF as I am a big believer in internet forums and have been a member and moderator of several over the years.
I have a question. In the Read Before You Post section it lays out all the forums, ending in the Pirate Cove. Then it lists the Do Not rules. Rule No. 1 is Don't post about knives!
Now, I'm confused. It sounds like you are talking about a particular forum, like Pirate Cove, but it appears in the general list of rules. Is this a knife forum where you can't post about knives? Or am I just reading the damn thing wrong (wouldn't be the first time)? I know on the British Knives forum they won't let you post about the use or effects of knives, no blood or tactics stuff apparently. Which is fine.
I know it sounds stupid maybe, but I just want to get clear on where I'm not supposed to post about knives.
Thanks. I appreciate the opportunity to hang out here with you guys and hopefully learn a lot about knife making. Glad to be here.
