I am still relatively new especially when it comes to Busse terms and was wondering if this blade is "Saber Ground" or can it be considered "Flat".

I'm starting to think it's not a FFBM and it's just a FBM.:foot:

Thanks for the help

If I'm not mistaken..... that is a FFBM which is Sabre ground. That is a chopping machine!

The sabre grind is a flat grind that does not go the full height of the blade:thumbup:

If you take a look at the plunge line, (line parallel to the to the line where the grips stop on the ricasso) you will notice that it does not reach the spine of the blade. You will also notice that there is a flat just above it. Ths sabre grind starts with a flat from the spine of the knife a little way, then a steep plunge down to the edge of the knife.

Yep, as stated you have the FFBM. "Flat" only refers to the fact that it does not have the corrugated bevel.

The CG FBM has CBTs where the FFBM does not. Adding Flat to the Fat Fusion Battle Mistress' description is because it doesn't have the corrugated bevel technology. Both it and the CG are Sabre ground but the difference is weather or not there are corrugated bevels and the thickness of the blade.

ETA P-Easy beat me too it.
