Hi there,

Well I bought an Emerson Horseman in the spring. I worked it in open close rinse and repeat. After I worked it in I disassembled the knife and wiped the copper lube off and put some white lithium grease on. I put it back together and it was fine but then when it was time to do it again I wiped, greased, and assembled it back an when ever I open or close it it would squeak. So I thought I didn't have enough grease on there. I went back and lubed it again still squeaked. So I've been living with it for a while and it's just been driving me crazy and I really want it to be fixed any idea?

- Thanks much

Don't use lithium grease or any type of grease. Lithium grease is about the worst type of lube for a knife.
