I noticed that it started making a small clicking noise sometimes, but not always, when I opened it or closed it. I though for sure there must be something on the back of the tang, but it looked clean.
It got a little worse and now I can see that the pivot pin is not as tight as it was when I first got it. The blade wiggles back and forth in the handle and I can spread the handle apart a little and click it back together. The pin that goes through the lock can also be pushed back and forth.
I have fixed loose pivots in a vice before, but only when they were loose from the start. This one was good at first and became loose later. Is a vice squeeze in order or does it need to go back for a proper peening?
