Norax belt problem

My X65 and X45 Norax belts seems to bulge(lengthwise) close to edges after some use.
When these bulges appear while belt is still pretty good I can't make a good grind anymore. I tighten belt as hard as possible but still have these bulges.

Anyone experienced this problem?

Run slow, don't hog and wipe off the water on a cloth or your sleeve after cooling between grinds. They seem to last forever. Rolling an edge doesn't help either. HTH.

I've never noticed what you are describing. I use Norax belts for every knife and I think they rock.
 
If you have a spring loaded idler wheel on youjr grinder, like the BM III, Be sure that the belt is all the way on all the wheels before allowing tension back on the belt. If your belt is not tracking all the way on each wheel, it can stretch the edges of your belt as it rides over the edge of the wheel, trying to strighten its self, while under tension. I like to give it a little spin by hand, while easing it into full tention. Mike
